These terms apply to all purchases made through grovero.com. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. To place an order you must be at least 18 years old.

Prices

All prices are shown excluding VAT unless stated otherwise. VAT is added at checkout at the rate applicable to your country. We may update prices at any time - the price shown when you order is the price you pay.

If we reduce the price of a product within 14 days of your delivery date, you may request a refund of the difference. Contact us at support@grovero.com within 14 days of the price change. This does not apply to limited-time sale prices.

Orders

Your order is confirmed when you receive an order confirmation email from us. This is when a binding purchase agreement is formed.

We may cancel an order if a product is out of stock, payment fails, or we suspect fraud. We will notify you promptly and issue a full refund.

We reserve the right to limit quantities available for sale at any time, even after an order is placed, provided it has not yet been accepted.

Payment

We accept iDEAL, Klarna, Bancontact, Visa, Mastercard, and Apple Pay.

Business buyers can request payment by invoice by contacting us at support@grovero.com before placing an order.

For credit card payments, we may verify your identity by comparing the information you provide with information from the card issuer. By placing an order, you consent to this check.

Delivery

We ship from the Netherlands. Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout - typically within 7 days of order confirmation.

We offer standard delivery within the Netherlands and internationally. For international orders, additional shipping costs and longer delivery times may apply.

If delivery fails because of an incorrect address you provided, re-delivery costs may apply.

We work with local distributors in many countries. Contact us to find your nearest distributor.

Collection

Orders may be collected from our Amsterdam location. To collect, you or your designated representative must present a valid photo ID and your order confirmation number. If you designate someone else to collect on your behalf, provide their name and email address at the time of purchase.

If an order is not collected by the final collection date, we reserve the right to cancel it.

Installation service

We offer a professional installation service within the Netherlands, including full setup and staff training. For locations outside the Netherlands, contact us at support@grovero.com to discuss availability and costs.

Returns - consumers

If you are a consumer - meaning you are not purchasing for business purposes -  you have 30 days from delivery to return your order, without giving a reason. This exceeds the 14-day minimum required by EU consumer law.

To start a return, email info@grovero.com before the 30-day period ends. After notifying us, you have a further 14 days to return the product. Return it in its original condition and packaging where possible. We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the return. Return shipping costs are at your expense unless the product is faulty. If the product is damaged on return, we may deduct depreciation from the refund.

The following products cannot be returned once opened: seed packets, Gromix cartridges, and Clemix cartridges.

Returns - business buyers

Business buyers do not have a statutory right of withdrawal under EU consumer law. However, Grovero extends a 30-day return courtesy to business buyers under the same conditions above.

Warranty

Consumers receive a 2-year legal warranty under EU consumer law, covering manufacturing defects.

Business buyers receive a 1-year manufacturer's warranty, covering defects in materials and workmanship.

To make a warranty claim, email support@grovero.com with a description and photos. We will assess the claim and repair or replace the product where valid. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, neglect, unauthorized repairs, or normal wear and tear.

Care Plan subscription

The Care Plan is an optional recurring subscription.

Billing: monthly plans are billed on the same date each month. Annual plans are billed once per year.

Seed selection: make your selection by the 25th of each month via the seed selection page. If no selection is made, no delivery is sent for that month.

Cancellation: cancel, pause, or resume at any time by emailing support@grovero.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued. Cancelling is as straightforward as subscribing.

Failed payments: if a payment fails we will notify you by email. If it continues to fail, your Care Plan may be paused until resolved.

Complaints

Contact us at support@grovero.com. We aim to respond within 2 business days and resolve complaints within 14 days.

Export restrictions

You may not export products purchased from Grovero to countries where prohibited by applicable export control laws. If you intend to export, you must obtain any required export licences before doing so.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are subject to Dutch courts, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the version in force at the time of purchase.
